The White Trio Insane servants of White Madness, who were created during the yugoloths' attempt to project Blacklands energy into the Outer Planes as part of a larger plot to turn the Great Ring towards evil. Once the yugoloth plot failed, the White Trio was released into the Dark God's service. The White Elf originally hailed from the mage city of Esh Alakar, north of Maztica, whose total destruction he helped arrange. The Elf stood magically stasised in his destroyed city for centuries, until released by the Gathering Storm. The Elf was the creation of White Madness, the leader of the White Trio, and the yugoloths' means of control over the Trio, and thus of the Blacklands energy they could command through the facet of the Queen of Air and Darkness' Black Gem that they carried split between them. The Elf is presumed dead, after unleashing his piece of the Black Gem in the Everfire of Veldreth. The White Kraken was the second of the White Trio. The Kraken ruled the undersea Blacklands, and led an undersea Army of Darkness against Veldreth. She was the spirit of a lost Gesaedere, and the mistress of the Isle of Ghosts off Landreth's shores. The White Ghost was destroyed when a selu-kiira imprisoning her soul was thrust by Serathin into the Maw of Darkness at the end of a gauntlet of deadly portals in Tovag Baragu.

Zael "the Pure" Syryndyll Warmaster of the Pureblood, the dark elves of Veldreth's Nelantir Forest who resisted the infectious power of the Plane of Shadow during their long imprisonment therein. Zael was formerly the clanless warmaster of purity, dedicated to preventing Shadow from corrupting the Pureblood clans. But upon their return to Eldreth, the Pureblood found the warband of purity unnecessary. However, prince Bezzindar and Eoin Kincaid, acting for King Kerlain, maneuvered Zael and his clanless followers into joining the Syryndyll and becoming a warmaster and warband dedicated to opposing the Blacklands and other manifestations of Entropy, whose corrupting touch is reminiscent of Shadow's dark influence. In an ironic twist, King Kerlain's death triggered the circumstances of Bezzindar and Eoin Kincaid's plot, and Zael became Syryndyll shortly thereafter.
